This vast diversity is reflected in the 15 forest types have been recognized at El Yunque, each one with particular environmental conditions. Visitors can enjoy hiking, swimming in the rivers or driving on the PR 186 Scenic Byway, which leads to El Toro trail in the Wilderness Area.
